Summer Yoga Intensive

This is a four-week sādhanā* (intensive) aimed around learning to practice and live with a full, strong, clear, and open heart.
The intensive will organize around a full, led vinyasa practice (with small periods of self-guided practice) as well as breath work and interactive exercises for clarifying intention. We will also learn to chant the Gayatri mantra.
During these 4 weeks you will create a home practice for yourself (even if it's just 5 minutes each morning) that will subtly (but radically!) change your life. Establishing a home practice is, in many ways, so much harder than going to a yoga class. It's easy to get discouraged and distracted, and requires tremendous discipline and self-forgiveness. Because of this, the structured support of a led group is instrumental.
This class will encourage you to practice at the level that is appropriate for you. You will get stronger at knowing when to rest and when to push yourself. With time, creating this sacred morning practice will help you step into your power and live a more authentic and directed life.
This intensive is open to most levels but is not best suited for complete beginners.
