Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for a few minutes allowing access to deeper layers of fascia and the nervous system. Join us Mother's Day (this Sunday) afternoon for a supportive Yin Yoga class as we nourish our body from the inside out with beauty and attention.
Honor those that have come before you- those who walked the path that has guided you and be your own good mother with this deliciously slow and supportive practice.
Hot tea and dark chocolate will be served along with fresh flowers fragrantly filling the air.
Open to all abilities and levels and all stages of motherhood- whether that’s mothering a project or an idea or a person or a pet. We recognize that to be a mother is a felt archetype and is not dependant on whether or not you have children.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing. You are invited to wear something that you feel beautiful in! (But not a dress)
Sunday May 12th from 2:30-4pm
About Jess: With her mother in Pennsylvania and her stepmother in Florida, Jess has found that living in California has given her an opportunity to be her own good mother. Some of the essential ingredients taught to her by these women were to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. To take plenty of time for yourself and to listen to the desires of your heart. Whether it's in her class or in her home, she delights in providing a nourishing and loving space for others to feel cared for and at ease.
