Beginning Basics of Yoga

Yoga can be intimidating- the tight clothes, the fit bodies, the pose names in some other language... but it doesn't have to feel this way.

Yoga is also very basic- its simply making time for ourselves to pay attention and feel our body as it is in this moment.

This class is designed to give you the knowledge to begin practicing yoga. It is for those with no experience and is aimed at helping you feel more comfortable and safe while attending a yoga class or while doing yoga at home on your own.

This class will be kept very small (under 10 people) to ensure enough time to answer questions and modify the practice for your particular body.

 You'll learn the basic poses and how to navigate and modify a yoga class to meet your particular needs.



About Stephanie:: Stephanie teaches in an accessible, beginner-friendly way. Her belief is that yoga is for everyone and she likes the challenge of helping each individual discover how they can make a yoga class work with their particular body.

She teaches from her heart, with an emphasis on encouraging listening to our inner teacher...the one who knows us best.
