Kirtan :: Devotional Song with Seabury Gould

  • Tosha Yoga 1283-1399 9th St Arcata, CA, 95521 United States (map)

By singing ancient Sanskrit prayers, we create a heart-opening musical experience with irresistibly sanctifying power. In community, we join a stream of consciousness & devotion that has been flowing for centuries.

By singing together in this way, we appreciate Nada Brahma: Sound is God.

Join multi-instrumentalist & storyteller Seabury Gould and tabla player Colby Beers for an evening of Kirtan (devotional singing), a vital element of Bhakti Yoga, the Yoga of Devotion.

Seabury is a music teacher for both adults & children. His sadhana (spiritual practice) has included the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo & the Mother since 1974.
