Cancelled: New Moon Circle - In Praise of Spring

March NM.jpeg

New Moon Circle - In Praise of Spring - with Movement, Meditations, Circle, Gong

We will gather a few days early for this new moon circle in praise of the arrival of spring. This is an optimal time to use the deep intuitive and instinctual nature of the new moon energies to support us as we begin to rise gently from our winter slumber. Our practice will honor the decent we made into the darkness of winter and allow us space to prepare ourselves for the blossoming of Spring.

Our evening will include practices from the tradition of Kundalini Yoga. Gentle movement of the body, pranayama, and meditations will lead us though our evening. Finally, participants will rest in savasana to receive the sounds of the Gong. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

Whether the moon is revealing herself as a sliver of light, hidden behind clouds, or in her full form she is always whole, as are we.

$25

7:00-9:00 on Friday, March 20th

The new moon is part of a natural cycle of growth. During the veiled light of the new moon we have the opportunity to come into relation with the deep instinctual and intuitive self to access where we have been and how we would like to proceed. We will gather together like the stars that brighten under a new moon sky to let go, nourish and give prayer to what in the spirit and psyche must be renewed to make our journey into the growing light
