Restore :: New Moon Yin Practice

  • Tosha Yoga 1283-1399 9th St Arcata, CA, 95521 United States (map)

Let’s gather with this new moon and do the careful, loving work of untangling

As we move through this complex world, unable to fully take in or process much of what we encounter- energetic and emotional residue is left within us- unfinished business accumulating weight. The evidence we feel as a tax on our radiance. Our soul is no longer the steward of our life- we become more and more mechanical and dull.

This is what the practice is for.

And the new moon is the prefect time to align with nature and the larger rhythms of release.

The new moon is the time for a wide exhalation to blow through us and leave us restored and free.

This event will be a mixture of slow, flowing gentle poses and long, deep, restorative holds- we will finish with some vocal techniques- sounding resonance together to clear out the inner chambers of the heart.

Suzanne will use some of her essential oils throughout the practice. (If you are sensitive to any please notify her ahead of time.)

All abilities welcome.

Please wear comfortable clothes, bring an eye mask if you’d like, and something beautiful and small to put on the altar as we create a mandala of gratitude in the center of our space.

Sunday November 8th 5:00 pm prompt. until 7:00

Consciously unwinding into the mystery that holds us, we dissolve what is false within us, and give license to our soul to carry us forth.
