Begin Again

  • Tosha Yoga 1283-1399 9th St Arcata, CA, 95521 United States (map)

This series is for anyone wanting to start (or restart) a yoga practice.

It’s for complete beginners and anyone feeling even slightly broken.

Life throws curveballs… and if we don’t have tools or the time to work with those curveballs they get stuck and become painful parts of the body. Then healthy, joyful movement can seem mysterious and impossible to find.

Suzanne will guide you in a simple, basic yoga movements and assist you in untangling problem areas of your practice. You will learn simple movement patterns you can take home with you or into yoga classes so you can modify and not feel held back. The aim is for this series to be a period of focus and effort toward understanding your body. Then once you’ve gained that knowledge- you will have it with you for the rest of your life.

This workshop series will give you the basics of anatomy and practice. And while Suzanne is not a doctor- and therefore cannot diagnose or treat- she can help you explore yoga poses that may be helpful for your body’s particular issues.
