January Strength Series with B

We all carry samskaras, deep grooves of behavior worn into us by repetition: the way we hold tension in our shoulders, the stories we tell ourselves about what we can't do, the resistance that rises when the alarm goes off.

To go against these familiar grooves is difficult! It's hard to know where to start. As poet David Whyte reminds us, "To begin we just begin"! It takes discipline—and not the harsh kind, but the kind that shows up, again and again—to work through these patterns and carve new pathways.

This series is an opportunity to hold yourself accountable to show up consistently, even when that early morning resistance rears its head as the alarm goes off.

The morning practice will be simple and steady: slow, rhythmic sequences to stir your blood, build strength through your core, shoulders, and legs, and dissolve the heaviness that often greets us first thing in the morning. So this is a practice of tapas—the disciplined heat that burns through old patterns, the steady commitment to friction that transforms habit into freedom.

Each class is a practice in paradox: effort and ease, ambition and acceptance, the fire of tapas and the softness of beginning again. Here, we practice being strong without being hard, disciplined without being rigid.

You’ll gather energy that lasts, cultivate clarity about what really matters, and carry yourself forward with a steadier kind of joy.

No drop-ins. All levels are welcome. Classes are recorded and available for 7 days.
