Let us mark the turning of the season with a full practice together. Rarely do we get the opportunity to slowly build the heat of the practice and then to harvest the deep stillness that is cultivated by that heat.
The beauty of yoga is its respect for the design of our architecture; our organization from subtle to gross. The practice is meant to carry us through these levels (called “Koshas” in Yoga) in a progressive way in the effort to know the true Self.
To this aim, ideally we have a slow development of strength and power and then the condensation of that heat internally. This condensed energy is then available to us to steep in- this makes the stiller parts or the later practice a joy instead of anxious or hollow feeling.
Join Suzanne for a nearly three-hour long practice - beginning with gentle asana, building to deep sweaty full expression and then moving into breathwork and meditation.
This class can be done as a stand-alone event or as part of OmBoldt.
